July 6, 2017

Harold Hager turned 100 this May and he has no plans of slowing down.

For the second year in a row, Harold volunteered more hours than anyone at Steuben County's Habitat for Humanity in New York.

"Harold has been with us for a few years years now and he's the volunteer who does the most number of hours here," said Marketing and Outreach Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity, Matthew Harmer.

"He works the equivalent of about a twenty-hour work week."

Harold says his next goal is to reach the age of one-hundred and five.

Either way, Harold plans to spend the rest of his life just like he has spent the last one hundred years, bettering the lives of those around him.
