Philadelphia Radio Show Raises 683 Tons Of Food And $75,000 For Food Bank In 5 Days

The "Preston & Steve" radio show in Philadelphia raised 1,367,384 pounds (683 tons) of food and $75,000 for a local food bank in just 5 days.

This is the largest amount collected in the event's 15-year run. Last year, WMMR collected 580 tons.
WMMR reports that each pound of food will provide one meal and each dollar will provide two meals.
